Why Grace writes Mumu Books

A woman with curly, light brown hair and hoop earrings is smiling and holding a children's book titled 'MUMU.' The book has an illustration of a happy dog holding a soccer ball on the cover, with a background of clouds and grass.

As a mother of two young children, I see every day how overwhelming the world can feel for little minds. Through my own journey with mindfulness, meditation, and silent retreats, I discovered that one of the greatest tools we already possess is our breath.

I've begun sharing these simple breathing techniques with my children, and I've been amazed by how naturally they use them to calm themselves, solve problems, and face challenges with confidence. Watching them reconnect with themselves inspired me to write these stories, so other families can discover that same quiet strength together.
